Delivery and Shipment

Delivery Notification & Certificate of Insurance (COI)

If your building or property requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for delivery, please notify us in advance. It is the client’s responsibility to request and coordinate any required COI documentation prior to the scheduled delivery.

Measuring Your Space

To ensure smooth delivery, it is the client’s responsibility to carefully measure doorways, elevators, stairwells, and all delivery paths. This must be done prior to delivery. SENTIENT is not responsible for delivery complications due to inaccurate or incomplete measurements.

Fit and Access Consultation

We highly recommend discussing your space and access conditions with our team prior to delivery. We’re happy to consult on potential fit issues to help avoid delays or failed delivery attempts..

If Delivery Cannot Be Completed

If delivery is unsuccessful due to access limitations or unsafe conditions, any additional fees for re-delivery will be the responsibility of the client.

No Cancellations or Refunds

Please note that orders cannot be canceled or refunded due to delivery access issues, including measurement or fit constraints..

No Moving of Existing Furniture

For safety and liability reasons, SENTIENT and our delivery partners will not move or modify any existing furniture or fixtures at the delivery site.

Preparing Your Space

Please ensure the delivery area is clear, safe, and ready for placement, assembly, or installation of your order.

Local Deliveries

If you are within our local delivery area (within a 50-mile radius of New York City) , we offer delivery directly to your space. This includes placement in the room of your choice, as long as access is safe and unobstructed.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Stairs or elevator use

  • Challenging site access

  • Assembly services (available upon request)

All standard delivery policies apply to local deliveries.

Order Processing & Shipping Timeline

All pieces are processed and prepared for shipment within 5–7 business days after your order is placed. Once your order is ready, a member of our team will contact you to discuss delivery requirements, options, and details.

All shipments originate from our Brooklyn gallery, and standard transit times typically range from 5–10 business days, depending on the delivery destination.

Assembly Services

  • For local orders, assembly services are available upon request.

  • For orders outside our local area, white glove assembly is available through trusted third-party partners.

  • Any costs related to assembly will be communicated before delivery..

Returns & Damaged Items

At SENTIENT Gallery, all sales are final. We do not accept exchanges or returns.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at: customer_service@sentientgallery.com

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographic evidence of any damage

We will work quickly to resolve the issue.
