Friends Bookcase Concept (pair) - Iteration I
In Driftwood Grey Maple & Brass
As much a sculptural statement as a functional piece of furniture, this concept presents a pair of anthropomorphic bookcases — one masculine, one feminine in form. Handcrafted in Brooklyn, they represent decades of design exploration and craft, merging fine art with utility.
The natural beauty of live-edge wood is thoughtfully balanced with subtle accents of solid brass, lending warmth and contrast. These bookcases invite conversation, offering not only a place for books but also a presence that enriches the room — objects to be admired in their own right.
